We’re thrilled to partner with Halifax Public Libraries to bring library services directly to our community! With the convenient library kiosk and book drop at the Prospect Road Community Centre, accessing your favorite books, movies, and more has never been easier. Whether you’re picking up a new read, returning borrowed items, or exploring what the library has to offer, our Centre is here to connect you with the joy of reading!
Library Kiosk
Returning your library books and materials is simple and convenient with our on-site book drop! Drop off your borrowed items any time at the Centre’s book drop location, and they’ll be safely returned to the library. It’s a hassle-free way to stay on top of your reading without making an extra trip.

How to Get Started
- Place Holds Online: Visit the Halifax Public Libraries website and log into your account to place a hold. Select the Prospect Road Community Centre as your pick-up location.
- Pick Up Your Items: You’ll receive a notification when your items are ready. Visit the Centre to pick them up from our kiosk during our regular hours.
- Return with Ease: Use the book drop at the Centre to return any borrowed library materials whenever it’s convenient for you.
