Disc Golf at the PRCC

We’re excited to announce the opening of a brand-new disc golf course at the Prospect Road Community Centre!

This fun and accessible outdoor activity is perfect for players of all ages and skill levels – a great way to stay active and enjoy our community’s beautiful surroundings.

Did you know that Disc Golf can be played year round?

This project was made possible thanks to the Prospect Road Recreation Association’s Legacy Grant, as well as the Community Integration Fund provided from HRM to the PRCC. Their generous support has helped bring this exciting new recreational opportunity to our community. The building of the course and ongoing adjustments are being done with our partners within HRM and being informed by the Disc Golf Community and Disc NS. Between now and next summer, HRM will continue to gather feedback from players (via the UDisc App) and change the course layout.

Disc Rentals Now Available

Don’t have your own discs? No problem! The PRCC now offers disc golf frisbees for rent:

• $5.00 for one driving and putting disc set
• A valid ID must be left at the PRCC while renting
• Children and youth without IDs must have a parent present; the parent will be required to provide their ID
• Please note that lost or damaged discs will be charged at $15.00 each.
